Ground Floor Void Vents (GFVV)
Function: To ventilate the space below suspended floors being Type 1 for existing buildings and Type 2 and Type 3 for new build.
Material: Polypropylene.
Free Vent Area: Type 1 - 1200mm²

Type 2 - 3000mm²

Type 3 - 6500mm²

Components: Type 1
400mm of 50mm Ø pipework attached by ridged push-fit to outer wall aperture frame with clip-on fascia grille. Pipework at 30° downward angle to the horizontal.
Fascia grille 88 x 118mm.

Type 2
Cranked telescopic unit with integral moisture inhibitor and brick grille.
Single unit – fully contracted 250mm and fully extended 404mm. Extension pieces add maximum 200mm each either vertically or horizontally.
Brick grille 65 x 108mm.

Type 3
Cranked telescopic unit with full size airbrick – fully contacted 250mm, fully extended 375mm.
Vertical extension sleeve adds 150mm. Duct adaptor available for horizontal extension.

For through-wall ventilation a cavity sleeve with full size airbrick is available.

Features: Type 1
With the aid of a core drill, the area beneath suspended floors can be ventilated.
Type 2
A flexible half brick system for venting beneath suspended floors across standard and non-standard cavities irrespective of wall thickness.

Type 3
A full brick system for venting beneath suspended floors with cranked adaptor. A cavity sleeve is also available for through-wall ventilation.
